We’ve reached our last submission for the 4th and last weekly word, HIDE, yesterday. October and the official Inktober challenge are over, and so is our publication, for now. It might return at a later date or for the next Inktober, but at the moment we (and probably also you) need a break from creativity. :)

Both of us would like to sincerely thank all of you who participated with your creative submissions and made this publication happen, all of you who came to check it out, to read, see and listen to all the drawings, stories, digital art, poems, paintings and videos, as well as Jake Parker for creating the official Inktober challenge and providing the prompts for this year.

The aim of this publication was to motivate you to create more and to show how a word can take many forms and inspire different kinds of creativity, beyond the ink drawings of Inktober. We’ve certainly done that, together.

Here’s the final count — 40 submissions and almost 2000 views.

So, thank you again for sharing your work with us and I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing the words come to life!

Petra (Erratic Engineeress) and Matt (Cowboys from Space)

P.S.: We might still accept some late submissions if you would like to share your work with us, or if you participated in Inktober and would like to add those works, even if they are unrelated to the words we chose.

P.P.S.: We received some very kind comments from the people that contributed to our publication. We are so happy to hear that writing a story improved someone’s mood or to be thanked for having encouraged somebody to share his works. We wish you to stay creative, and we will look forward to your future creations!
